What biofeedback training is used for
Muscle reactivation
A muscle that won't "switch on" after surgery or injury?
After knee surgery, hip replacement or long periods of protection, muscles are often inhibited – such as the vastus medialis or gluteus medius. Biofeedback makes the smallest activity visible and therefore trainable.
Activation & timing
The wrong muscles working – and the right ones too little?
Overactive synergists, delayed activation, poor coordination: EMG reveals the pattern within the movement, the feedback corrects it.
Side-to-side differences
Left and right don't feel the same?
Asymmetric activation between the sides becomes measurable – and is balanced out directly in training.
Relaxation & tone regulation
Tension that just won't release?
Biofeedback works both ways: you learn not only to activate, but also to consciously reduce excessive resting tension – for example in the neck and shoulders.
How your biofeedback training works
Findings & goals
Clinical examination and definition of which muscles are trained in which movement.
EMG measurement
Surface electrodes on the skin – painless and non-invasive. Activity is captured in real time, optionally synchronised with video.
Training with feedback
You see your muscle activity live and work with target windows until the activation is reliable.
Transfer to everyday life
Home exercises, progress checks and a step-by-step transition to movement without the screen.
Real Patients, Verified Outcomes
"I am here for the second time at the medical gait analysis at Lake Constance with Rok Stojan, and I am absolutely thrilled. I have a long medical history with hip dysplasia and have undergone many surgeries. Right now, we are working on training the missing muscles. Muscles that a neurologist had previously diagnosed as no longer existing. We are actively working on it now, and I think it's absolutely amazing!"

"Until I did the gait analysis and EMG training, I thought I knew how to do simple exercises like squats properly. Unfortunately, I had to realize that I was actually sabotaging and even harming myself by engaging the wrong muscles during my workouts. Through the feedback training, you can correct these habits, which has a positive impact on your overall movement patterns, both when walking and riding. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to move healthily!"

"This is my second time here today because of my posture, my arthrosis, and my meniscus tear. And thanks to the exercises, things have already significantly improved since my last visit. The exercises are easy to perform, can be seamlessly integrated into daily life, and I am completely satisfied!"

"Rok Stojan provided me with new approaches to improve my posture and gait, and demonstrated through targeted exercises how I can work on them. Thank you so much for this valuable input."
